it’s been a week now but i wanted to show you some impressions of europe’s biggest golf show. i got there with 3 other golf enthusiasts as we drove last sunday at 7am from frankfurt to cologne to check out some new products on the market, chat with some brand representatives, have a look at some remarkable golf courses across germany and some across the main golf destinations of german golf players like the canaries, turkey, spain and other hot spots in the mediterranean area.

all the industry’s “big players” were there: we tested clubs at mizuno, nike, taylormade, ping, callaway but as well the more unknown manufacturers like honma, jg golf and walk golf. there really was a lot to see and to test.

we also enjoyed some presentations by frank adamovicz (head pro at st. leon-rot, head coach of the playing pro team PGA germany, tv-commentator) and wiestaw kramski, the famous manufacturer of the putter series; both interesting and teaching shows. anybody who was interested in new trolleys, new balls, accessories and lots of clothes was totally right at rheingolf.

visitors were able to participate in some events, too. we tried to hole the longest putt, then tried to putt with a spheric-putter and to chip precisely at the gong shot event of jg-golf. no need to say that we were quite good at it! :)
