the masters is over, now it’s my own master plan i have to focus on! obviously i wanna make a huge step downwards with my handicap this year, i try to play as many courses as i can in the rhein-main area where i live and i’ll try to play some interesting tournaments and events this spring.
the courses in the frankfurt region seem not to plan that far ahead, so i’m currently enrolled in only one single tournament. it’s a normal monthly open, so no big deal. what might be a bit more interesting is the fact that i plan to participate in the BMW international pro-am challenge. the winner team plays the wednesday pro-am at the BMW international open in june. that would be so cool!
another cool thing i planned, is playing both championship courses at st. leon-rot on one day. so kinda 36-hole golf marathon. i’m really looking forward to that!
next to my upcoming golf holiday to the island sylt (after a short trip to the royal wedding in london) where i plan to play every of the 3 official courses, i have a list of courses that are around frankfurt and ready to be discovered, e.g.: kronberg, neuhof, hanau, hof trages, frankfurt and so forth.
next item on the golf agenda is playing in weilrod with 2 buddies from work. i’ve never been to weilrod before and i heard that there is some heavy roller -coaster due to its location in the taunus uplands. so we’ll see. wish me luck! i’ll keep you updated.
