the FedEx cup is the playoff series in the US PGA golf season. it is worth 10 million USD… yep: 10 million!! just by playing well in 4 consecutive tournaments in every year’s autumn, the players have the chance to make real big money! With every tournament there are players that don’t make it to the next one – an inter-tourney cut so to say. and after the third game, the BMW championships, there are only 30 guys left…

last year, jim furyk was the lucky man… still unclear for me how somebody with such a nasty swing can play so constantly. but hey, “i can earn 10 mil with that swing” he would say… and he’s so damn right!
