The 2013 Deutsche Bank Championship is over and I’m sort of proud that I somehow predicted the outcome: Henrik Stenson, the likable Swede won the tournament in fashion with a 67-63-66-66 and 2 strokes in front of Steve Stricker. In total he hat a Green-in-Regulation score of 85% (first spot in field) and had an impressive Sand Saves rate as well: 100%!! That’s because he only had one single bunker shot to play in the entire tournament – and holed it. This guy is good!
Next step: BMW Championship outside of Chicago. Looking at my predictions, it would be Phil Mickelson’s turn now, but for example Jason Dufner and Sergio Garcia are hot as well. We’ll see, the show starts already tomorrow 12 September!
Sorry, got the weeks wrong. It’s one week to go for the next FedEx Cup tournament. So relax, sit back, have a drink and enjoy the weekend!
