One has to acknowledge that this what Jim Furyk achieved couple of days back at the BMW Championships really is one big thing nobody will forget that quickly. He scored a 59 – that’s 12 under par on one single round! Admittedly Conway Farms is just a 71 par course but still, this round was astounding!

He is now one of the 6 guys on earth who ever did this in a regular tour event. But he is the only one with a bogey on the card. So what a round! Louis Oosthuizen once shot a 57, which – very unfortunate for him – doesn’t count because it was scored in a non-regular event.

In the end however it wasn’t Furyk but another guy who won the BMW Trophy: Zach Johnson who played a 65 on the final day, and even Nick Watney passed him with a 64. A good week for Jim Furyk anyway.
